I had a great time organizing our Earth Day event at Kew & Willow Books on Lefferts Boulevard on April 22nd. I got to speak with many community members, parents, and kids about our CSA and our different types of shares. The kids all had a great time making crafts from recycled cardboard tubes and listening to my husband, Bob, read Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax and other books selected by the Kew and Willow staff: Biscuit’s Earth Day Celebration and Fancy Nancy: Every Day is Earth Day
